Ihtimam: Jurnal Pendidikan Bahasa Arab is a scholarly journal dedicated to the publication and dissemination of research findings, conceptual studies, and best practices in the field of Arabic language education from multidisciplinary perspectives. The journal provides a platform for academics, researchers, educators, practitioners, and scholars to exchange ideas and share the latest developments in Arabic language teaching and learning.
The journal covers a broad range of multidisciplinary topics in language education and language studies, with a particular emphasis on Arabic language education. Its scope encompasses Arabic and other language teaching and learning, language pedagogy and methodology, curriculum and instructional design, linguistics and applied linguistics, language acquisition, psycholinguistics, sociolinguistics, pragmatics, discourse analysis, translation and interpreting, language assessment and evaluation, multilingualism and language policy, language and literature, intercultural communication, teacher education, educational psychology, educational technology, digital and AI-assisted language learning, and the integration of language studies with Islamic studies, education, social sciences, humanities, and other relevant disciplines. Particular attention is given to innovative, interdisciplinary, contextual, and evidence-based approaches that contribute to the advancement of language education and language studies in diverse educational and cultural contexts.
Ihtimam: Jurnal Pendidikan Bahasa Arab is published June and December, operates under an open access policy, and welcomes manuscripts written in Arabic, and English from academics, teachers, researchers, practitioners, and scholars of Arabic language education from Indonesia and around the world.
