Abstract

Abstrack:The researchers concluded their analysis of the units in the 2023 Arabic Language Textbook for Grade 12 as follows: The material preparation for this unit was adjusted according to the Minister of Religious Affairs Decree No. 183 of 2019. This is considered a drawback of the unit, as it does not implement the Independent Learning Curriculum in accordance with the most recent regulation, KMA 347 of 2022, which pertains to the implementation of the Independent Learning Curriculum. The first form of training/assessment in this unit is a written test in the form of fill-in-the-blanks, essays, multiple choice, short answers, true/false, and matching. The second is performance-based, such as dialogue and speech. The third is attitude-based (Pancasila Student Profile), which includes observation, self-assessment, and peer assessment. However, this third type of assessment is not present in the unit, and neither enrichment nor remedial questions are provided. The percentage distribution of cognitive level questions in the 2024 Arabic Language Textbook for Grade 12 in the Yogyakarta region is as follows: C1 (Remembering): 19.0%, C2 (Understanding): 16.6%, C3 (Applying): 33.3%, C4 (Analyzing): 26.1%, C5 (Evaluating): 0%, C6 (Creating): 4.7%
