PEMIKIRAN OMID SAFI : HUMANISME DAN SUFISME
Abstract
Tulisan ini membahas tentang pemikiran Omid Safi yaitu humanisme dan sufisme yang menjadi dasar ide gagasan muslim progresif. Untuk mengetahui hal itu, digunakan pendekatan analisis terhadap kary-karya Omid Safi yang berisi muatan humanisme dan sufisme kemudian menafsirkannya. Hasilnya adalah bahwa humanisme dan sufisme merupakan dua pemikiran besar Omid Safi yang identik sekali dengan dirinya. Humanisme Omid Safi merupakan sebuah gagasan besar untuk menggambarkan sejatinya muslim progressif yang meliputi gagasan-gagasan Omid lainnya seperti social justice, gender equality dan pluralism. Sementara sufisme adalah sebuah gagasan besar Omid Safi yang mendukung gagasan humanismenya.References
