Komunikasi Tokoh Agama Untuk Menciptakan Toleransi Kajian Surah Al An’am Ayat 108 (Studi Relasi Sosial Komunitas Muslim Dan Kong Hu Cu Kota Madiun)

- Abstract: Diversity is a condition in society where there are many differences in various fields. These differences can be seen from religion, race, ethnicity, beliefs, social culture, political ideology, economics and others. Interfaith communication is based on the teachings of the Al-Qur'an Surah Al-An'am verse 108 to form harmonious social relations. Religious leaders play an important role in bridging differences in beliefs by avoiding insults towards other beliefs and promoting mutual respect and understanding. QS. al-An'am: 108 contains the prohibition on insulting and degrading the worship of other religions. The purpose of this prohibition is so that polytheists do not insult Allah in response to insults committed by Muslims. This article aims to examine this verse within the framework of Al Azhar and Al Misbah interpretations and their correlation with what occurs between Islamic and Confucian communities in Josenan Village, Madiun City. This research uses a qualitative approach by conducting library research. The results of this research are that there are three relationships between verses and tolerance that occur in Josenan, namely not insulting the worship of other religions, recognizing the existence of other religions, speaking using polite language, mutual support, and mutual openness.
