Pengaruh Kebijakan Bidang Kesiswaan dan Gaya Kepemimpinan Kepala Sekolah Terhadap Prestasi Akademik Siswa di Pondok Pesantren Al-Quran Madinatul Ilmi Kepahiang

Abstrak: The student affairs policy is a series of measures taken by the pesantren management to organize student activities, including character development, performance monitoring, and various student development programs. This study aims to analyze the impact of student affairs policies and the school principal's leadership style on students' academic achievement at Pondok Pesantren Al-Quran Madinatul Ilmi Kepahiang. The research employs a quantitative approach using a survey method involving students as respondents. Data was collected through questionnaires measuring students' perceptions of student affairs policies, the principal's leadership style, and their academic achievements. The results indicate that supportive student affairs policies and an effective and inspirational leadership style have a significant positive impact on improving students' academic performance. These findings can contribute to the management of Islamic boarding schools, particularly in designing policies that support student development and enhancing leadership quality in the educational environment.
