Manajemen Kepala Sekolah dalam Meningkatkan Kualitas Pendidikan di Sekolah Luar Biasa Kabupaten Rejang Lebong

Principal management plays an important role in ensuring the quality of education in special schools that have high complexity. This study aims to describe and analyze the implementation of principals' management in improving the quality of education in special schools in Rejang Lebong district. The research focuses on four management functions: planning, organizing, implementing and supervising. The method used is descriptive qualitative with interview, observation and documentation techniques. Research informants included principals, teachers, and parents. The results showed that the principal made maximum efforts to empower the limited teaching staff, develop programs based on student needs, and build cooperation with various parties. However, the shortage of teachers remains a major obstacle. The research recommends government attention to special school teacher formation, improved teacher training and strengthened collaboration between schools, parents and stakeholders to create more inclusive education.
