Abstract: This study aims to analyze the public relations strategy of PLN Icon Plus in creating press releases as a corporate information channel in the digital era and identify the challenges encountered in the press release development process. The research method used is qualitative, employing in-depth interviews with key stakeholders, namely the Manager of Public Relations at PLN Icon Plus. The results show that PLN Icon Plus implements active two-way communication, tailoring messages and communication channels to audience characteristics, and engaging in joint releases with external partners. Each press release undergoes issue identification, risk mitigation, and tiered approval processes to ensure accuracy, transparency, and information relevance. The main challenges faced include managing public perception, competing for media attention, and the need to craft messages that are engaging and responsive to current issues. This strategy has proven effective in building a positive image, strengthening relationships with the media and public, and increasing stakeholder trust in the company. These findings are expected to serve as a reference for other companies in optimizing press releases as a strategic communication tool.
