Rekonstruksi Teori dan Kebijakan Pendidikan Luar Sekolah: Pendekatan Dalam Konteks Pendidikan Islam Kontemporer

Out of school education plays a crucial role in reaching various segments of society that are not served by formal education. This article aims to reconstruct the theory and policy of out-of-school education in the context of contemporary Islamic education. Through an analytical approach, this study identifies the importance of integrating Islamic values into nonformal education policies and highlights the need to develop curricula that are relevant to the social and cultural context of Indonesian society. The study suggests that out-of-school education policies shift from a top-down model to a bottom-up approach, involving the community as the main actor. Additionally, the article proposes strengthening religious institutions, utilizing value-based technology, and fostering cross-sectoral synergy in the implementation of Islamic-based out-of-school education policies. The findings of this study are expected to contribute to the development of more inclusive and sustainable educational policies in Indonesia.
