Abstract: Seeing the character of MINU students which is still relatively low, such as the tragedy of bullying, fighting during the learning process, and lack of student understanding about the application of good manners towards teachers in the MINU Metro school environment, this is what makes researchers want to know more about the development of student character in MINU, especially class III A. The purpose of this study was to determine whether P5 can develop student character and the implementation of P5 in developing student character in class III A MINU Metro. This research approach uses quantitative with a survey method. The population is 28 students. The sampling method is saturated sampling, data collection using a questionnaire. The statement instrument is 15 and is distributed through offline filling (face to face). To test the validity of the instrument using Pearson's Product Moment Correlation and Cronbach's Alpha Formula for the Reliability test, then the results are 0.882. The requirement test consists of the Determination Coefficient test and the Simple Linear Regression Hypothesis Test. The results of the study showed that there was a positive correlation between the variables of the Pancasila Student Profile Strengthening Project (X) and Character Development (Y) because the correlation hypothesis test of 0.00 was less than 0.05, meaning that (Ha) was accepted and (Hn) was rejected. Meanwhile, for the Simple Linear Regression hypothesis test, the calculation of t-count was 4.661 ? t- table 2.661. The results of the Determination Coefficient Test obtained an R-Square value calculation of 0.455, which means that there is an influence between the dependent variable and the independent variable of 45%. From the research results, it can be concluded that after the P5 activity was implemented, there was a positive influence on the character development of class III A MINU Metro students, this influence increased by 45%.
