Upaya Guru Pendidikan Agama Islam Dalam Meningkatkan Motivasi Belajar Siswa Sekolah Menengah Pertama Islam Terpadu Abu Bakar Yogyakarta

This research aims to describe the efforts of Islamic Religious Education Teachers in Increasing Student Learning Motivation at the Abu Bakar Yogyakarta Integrated Islamic Junior High School along with supporting and inhibiting factors. The results of the research show the efforts made by Islamic religious education teachers to increase student learning motivation at Abu Bakar Integrated Islamic Middle School Yogyakarta using various learning methods, such as creating a pleasant classroom atmosphere, giving prizes, fostering competition between students, giving grades, giving praise, including students who excel and provide motivation both in class and outside of class. The supporting factors are very adequate learning facilities, good cooperation between the principal and all teachers, additional hours outside of lessons and the closeness of the homeroom teacher to the students. Meanwhile, the inhibiting factors consist of two, namely intrinsic factors and extrinsic factors. Intrinsic factors include diverse backgrounds, lack of attention when the teacher explains the material, and lack of rest. Meanwhile, the extrinsic factors are the influence of the learning environment, including the environment: family.References
